Plamen Konstantinov was born in Sofia on 1973. Konstantinov started playing volleyball in Levski Sofia in 1986. Plamen Konstantinov had more than 420 (up to 2004) matches with Bulgarian National Volleyball team. Konstantinov played at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, in 1996 (6th place) and he participated in 3 World Championships, 6 European Championships, and 6 World Leagues. Plamen Konstantinov has won 6 National Championships (Olympiakos, Iraklis, Aris, Panathinaikos, Slavia, Levtsky) and 3 National cups (Iraklis, Slavia II).
